Could be a bark crab spider?

The photo isn’t clear enough to be sure. Spiders can be really difficult to get good photos of. Might be a wolf spider. They are often big and hairy. It might be a female carrying her babies on her back. They stick like Velcro. Yes, they should have 8 legs. Something rough happened to this one, she’s missing some segments on her remaining legs. Spiders have an adaptation where they can yank a stuck leg and deliberately break or lose it with minimal fluid loss. This helps them escape predators.
