Make that dark FISHING spider ♀️
Hi, this is a male Running Crab Spider (Philodromidae).
Thank you so much! They’re cool right? He was happily wandering around my deck and I want to make sure my 5mo old is ok.
Yep, not one to worry over. Like most spiders they have venom but are unlikely to bite except in self defense and are not considered to be of medical significance.
