It’s the leg-like appendages near the spider’s mouth I typically would need to see. They’re enlarged on the tip of penultimate (one molt short of maturity) and mature male spiders. The gender of immature spiders is often indeterminable. They’re not clearly visible here. If it were something close to Heteropoda venatoria and big enough to be mature I might suspect female because of the plain appearance of the carapace, the males of that species have a black design on them … but I don’t know if that’s what you have.
