Scytodidae (spitting spiders), Scytodes longipes Lucas, 1844. ♂
Wow! Rarely do our submitters of photos examine the male’s pedipalps!
Closer examination of the palps led me to believe that this is not Scytodes longipes (the only species other than S. thoracica heretofore reported from NC), but a Mexican species, S. atlacoya, that has appeared in a few other scattered locations in the US.
I sent this and other specimens to the authors in Brazil, who have confirmed that this is S. atlacoya Rheims, Brescovit, & Durán-Barrón, 2007.
So now we have three species in NC!
