Was found Inside the house in the bathroom. It jumped out of the container and a pet dog had eaten it.

Dark Fishing Spider is the nickname, I forget the legit name. Reminds me of beetle juice because of the legs 🙂

Dolomedes tenebrous is the name, I’m not certain that this is the species in the photo. Yes, the BeetleJuice legs are the reason I’m not sure. I like your term, “legit name.”

This is the first posting that I’ve seen where the story ends with a dog eating the spider 🙂 The pet cat is usually the antagonist of the story.
