Comments & ID Thoughts

I believe it was under my kitchen cabinets by the base boards when I used my dust mop it came crawling out and there looked to be some web material but could have also been behind my washer or on the side where my mop was. Do they bite? Or are they Poisionous? Thank you

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Crab Spider in the genus Xysticus. Like most spiders they have venom but are not considered to be of medical significance to people (everyone’s immune system is different though) and they are unlikely to bite except in self defense. It’s not one to worry over.
