The spider was on my garden at approximately 6 feet on a Papaya tree. The web was like hexagonal shape.

Looks like a silver garden spider, Argiope argentata
I looked up and you’re right! In Mexico it seem it’s called “Araña tigre” which means “Tiger Spider”. Thank you!
That’s interesting, I like learning what the common names are for a spider in different languages.
