This spider is black with red patterns on its abdomen so what comes to mind of course is a black widow. I’m hoping it is something else because I have been finding them in my backyard!

Thank you! I looked up the Ochard Weaver and I am totally sure you are right. It is nice to know that it is not a Black widow and that the Orchard Weaver is harmless.
