Is this a Cheiracanthium/yellow sac spider? Found it in my kitchen on my paper towel roll.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Yes, this looks like a Long-legged Sac Spider (C. mildei). If you see more you can reduce the number of spiders you see in your home by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside.

I feel it necessary to inform people of the potential dangers posed by certain spiders such as these in order to be cautiously aware when in proximity. These aren’t deadly or aggressive but they are venomous according to internet research and do have a painful bite. Safely relocate the spider when encountered. If bitten, don’t panic but do treat and monitor the wound. Yellow sac spiders seem to have an affinity for gas so can be seen around vehicles.
