I’m brand new here. I don’t know a lot about spiders, but find some beauties rather often. I have a spider ID guide; however, live specimens don’t always match guide color/markings, so I have little confidence in my conclusions at times. I’m guessing this is a garden/grass spider. But, I have no idea the species. Thank you for bearing with me while I acclimate!
This is a nursery web spider, Pisaurina mira. Its color is variable, but the markings are the same (broad stripe with wavy edges on the abdomen). They’re not dangerous.
