TangledWeb

Hi, this looks like it might be Araneus bicentenarius, a Giant Lichen Orbweaver. There aren’t many green and brown spiders in America. It is harmless. They make the classic orb webs (like the spiderweb emoji) and eat flying insects. She will try to avoid any situation where she must resort to biting to protect herself. She doesn’t want to feel trapped and pressed against your skin. That’s pretty easy to avoid. She would be content to just stay in one spot where she makes her web and hides to sleep for the rest of her life.
