It looks like it could possibly be a white-banded Crab Spider. They are typically non-aggressive, although their bite has been compared to a bee sting.
I think so too. Misumenoides formosipes. They have the ability to change colors to match their surroundings. They move their legs to match the lines of the background too. They sit on flowers and grab insects that come for the nectar. In my opinion, they are much more of an interesting animal to show the kids (the color changes can take a few hours) than one to worry about.
Can anyone help me find out if this spider is venomous, found on a flower on my yard and kids play around the same area. Thanks for help.
