I found this spider on the cover for my Weber Grill. I flicked him off the cover and two days later, he was back.
I don’t think this is an actual spider, but perhaps an Opilione. I could be wrong but it looks like it only has two body segments. Daddy Longlegs/Harvestman?

Thanks Former, I did some research and see the significant resemblance to the Daddy Longlegs/Harvestman. However, I am not seeing any pics that have the red color of this guy. In nature, bright colors are a warning for us to leave the critter alone. My concern is if this Opilione is venomous? Any thoughts?
No Opiliones contain venom glands, so it’s not venomous. I have no explanation for the color.
There are purple ones too! I don’t recognize this orange one. Our site specializes in spiders. Bugguide.net identifies insects and arachnids. They probably can give you more info than we can.
