Have been told the smaller brown is a house spider, not dangerous

Yes, that’s what spider sex looks like. The male may touch the female’s legs to signal his intentions. His goal is to use a pedipalp to put semen in a opening near her head. She can’t be trusted to not attempt to kill him so he needs to stay in a position facing her. He may be holding her back with his legs too. Did she kill him? Aww I kind of wish I had stuck around to see that, I gave them some privacy & went back inside & I think as a female I was brought here initially out of curiosity for my safety to sit on the porch late at night. I really appreciate the spider sex Ed you gave!! I didn’t know that’s how it all went down. Thank you for sharing 🙂
