Yes, that’s what spider sex looks like. The male may touch the female’s legs to signal his intentions. His goal is to use a pedipalp to put semen in a opening near her head. She can’t be trusted to not attempt to kill him so he needs to stay in a position facing her. He may be holding her back with his legs too. Did she kill him?
