What is this? I found it spraying the outside of my house.

I got to looking at the 8 common spiders in Montana and this is what I found but I think I is wrong because I found it today 6-17-2019 Araneus gemmoides

i got it in a jar in the fridge if that helps with any questions that may come up so we can Identify it
I think you are correct and that species isn’t that easy to ID. It’s an orbweaver AKA/Garden Spider. She’s a predator of large flying insects, but not a dangerous spider.
