I think this is a Dolomedes tenebrosus. I'm not 100% sure but it looks the most similar to the dark fishing spider.

Is this a Dolomedes tenebrosus? My friend said it looked like a huntsman spider but I didn’t see that close of a resemblance between the two.
Hmmmm, hard to say. How large was this spider?
Is there anyway I can post other pictures? The legs spread out to either 3 to 3.5 inch circle. The head was rounder than the uh, back part area, back part area was probably the size of a peanut and the head was a little larger. It has the black and brown/tanned legs that go horizontally across the legs.
I think this is a dark fishing spider.
I do too. It had the black and brown striped legs, pretty big, found in the shower, not my most pleasant meeting. I know there haven’t been many confirmed in SC but I live pretty close to NC where they have been confirmed more there.
