I have no idea what kind of spider this is. I found it chilling on a bird of paradise in my yard. I live close to the base of the koolau mountains overlooking Kaneohe bay.

It seemed green when it was on the flower and quickly spun a web to get away.
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Crab Spider (Thomisidae). According to this a Misumenops sp., I don’t know if that’s where it’s currently placed or not though.

It looks very similar to Thomisus spp., I don’t know which one it would be in HI though.
