Almost all spiders are venomous, but this is not a species that has medically significant venom for humans, nor are they aggressive. These spiders would also much rather escape a predator by means of agility rather than fighting/biting. If handled roughly, their bite has been compared to a painful bee sting, but you would really have to make it fear for it’s life to bite you. Garden spiders are quite beneficial for actual pest control!
