Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I don’t think Steatoda grossa is established in South Africa. Looks a bit like Nesticodes rufipes, but I can’t be sure from this image, and I’m not well versed in what is common in your region.
Hi. Thank you for the info. I would try get a better pic of the little one as he lives in my kitchen next to the light fitting. We have black widows in my area that’s why I thought this is the false black widow.
