Edit: I removed the duplicate image as this one is very similar but clearer.

Thanks, do I need pest control, as I have heard these have a nasty bite

No, if you are finding them indoors you can reduce the number of spiders you see by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside. They’re beneficial and help to control the insect population.
