Comments & ID Thoughts
Hello!
I found this beauty in a warm sunny room in my house last week.
My guess is she(pretty sure it's female) is a Phidippus Carolinensis or Audax? Maybe even a Regius?
Mostly grayish brown and white hair, iridescent green chelicerae,
black fringe on top of head, four tan spots on top of abdomen(tan spots against black body) with black lines running horizontally up and down sides of abdomen(black lines against tan coloration).
She is active, playful and friendly and has totally sold me on keeping them around to study and interact with.
Any comments are greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
P.s. I have other photos to get a closer look if anyone is interested!

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like Phidippus otiosis.
Thank you so much!
Any idea what life stage/molting stage she is in?
No, sorry I’m not that familiar with them. If you still have her you could try putting her in a clear plastic baggie, gently smooth the plastic over her and flip it over to if she has an epigynum, if she does she’s mature.
