Difficult to be 100%, but I think this is Rabidosa rabida, a Rabid Wolf Spider. They are really common this time of year. Despite the name, they are harmless with venom medically insignificant to humans. They can be large and intimidating, but would much rather rely on speed and agility to escape a threat rather than bite.
If I find one in my house, I usually put a plastic cup over it, then slide a piece of paper under that, then carry it all outside and let it go in the grass.
The spider is hugh. Is it harmful to children or animals?
