Tough to tell the specific species but I believe this is an Araneus Orb-weaver, of which there are 650 different species. They’re common, harmless and can be strikingly beautiful. 🙂
Yes, this one looks like she’s gorgeous! I don’t recognize this Orbweaver at all. When you get a chance please post a photo of her from the other side of her body. The markings and features can help with her identification. They rest and eat with their head toward the earth, but I haven’t seen one eat head-down while standing like that.
