Comments & ID Thoughts

Went outside the other night with led flashlight, and I noticed these light specs in the grass. I decided to walk up to it to see what was the cause. When I jumped, because being so close to it. There was a good 20- 40 if these specs. I only tracked down a few not all. I had my fill. Thing is I have a couple of little girls, and am concerned.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Wolf Spider, Tigrosa annexa. They’re not considered to be of medical significance to people (everyone’s immune system is different though) and are unlikely to bite except in self defense.
