Peucetia viridans, Green Lynx Spider. It was in a red and green shrub. I can't see clear chervron markings dorsally and it doesn't have the black hairs that I expected. It was small, about 2cm at most for body length. The shrub had an insect infestation.

The camouflage is impressive!
It is! This is the first one I’ve seen in person. I didn’t get enough photos because I lost track of the camouflaged spider in the rose bush. Tomorrow I’m insisting on going to a State Forest as a family trip. They will probably just leave me there and go somewhere “fun.” Today I spent on the day searching my in-laws yard for insects and spiders 🙁 along the edge of a South Carolina golf course. Lots of awesome dragonflies! No mosquitoes!
