I knew she was a dolomedes but was surprised as she was on the wall of my house and I'm no where near a body of water.

Found this on the wall of my house. A little research revealed her to be a dolomedes tenebrosus. I was a little surprised as my previous encounters with this giant occurred at a lakeside and I live no where near a body of water. I was tickled to see this beauty with an egg sac. Though I fear my daughter will not be so thrilled. Think I’ll keep this to myself and hope the two don’t meet during a visit.
