Comments & ID Thoughts
Iโve never seen one before where I live. My mother-in-law shot this in her garden. She says theyโre pretty common. Any thoughts?

Looks like a Golden Silk my friend. Nice catch
Shamrock Orbweaver, Araneus trifolium. They are common in some parts of Canada. They have a wide variety of colors. This one is pretty much the basic model with black and white banded legs and a fuzzy peach abdomen. Look for what looks like two pairs of cartoon eyes on their backs.
Oh man, you seem to know a lot, maybe you can help me with my new front yard neighbor and the reason of why I just joined this Spidey community ๐
Oh, I’m just faking it! ๐ Yours probably is a Tropical Orbweaver. Check out the photos of Eriophora ravilla on Bugguide.net
OMG LOL!!! I also thought it was a tropical Orbie just keeping nature in balance ๐
