This spider was on the ground in a large tree root within a stand of pine trees. The whole spider was about 4-5 inches. The body about 1 inch. It was overall light tan in color.

Thank you! This is the largest spider I have ever encountered. It left me a bit rattled. I am trying to appreciate the fact that they eat cockroaches 🙂 aloha!
