Beautiful markings. Never seen before. It’s about 3/4 inch body with lovely long legs. I can get a pic of the abdomen. Looks rather formidable with size and armor like markings. Anybody know what kind it is? It’s been perched all day on this wild lily stalk. No sign of web. Thanks for help.

Araneus diadematus, is the closest species I know of. They are usually gold, brown, or reddish brown with lighter accents. This black, gray, and cream one is strikingly beautiful
!
