Yes! I looked that up and it’s spot on! Thank you for chiming in! I was pretty sure of an orb Weaver, but couldn’t find one close. What site do you use for reference?
I used this site. 🙂 I didn’t recognize what orbweaver it was at all so I clicked on your state in the red text on this page. That gives me the spiders this site has identified before in your state. Occasionally the spider is a first sighting for the state, but that is rare, much less than one percent. A. saevus was the hairiest species that I’m not very familiar with and it has a lot of color variations. So, that’s where Occam’s Razor cuts to my best educated guess.
