A local group suggested a species of crab spider but I can’t seem to find an identifying pic anywhere. The body had what I would call “crab armor” features

Hi, this is a male Hentz Orb-weaver, Neoscona crucifera. Being male it looks a bit different than most of the representative images you’ll find of this species.
