She’s an interesting Misumena vatia. Her pink stripe markings changed to a darker shade on the dark pink flower. I’ve only seen that color change on the pink markings when the spider turns yellow to match a yellow flower. That means the markings can possibly change color for camouflage independent of the basic body color change.
Oh wow, I had no clue they could change color like that. I have seen the yellow ones before, but always just assumed that they were a yellow version and this one happened to be white. And to change the markings color independently is very impressive. I never would have even considered that to be a possibility!
