Hobo or Giant House Spider?
Heard it scamper loudly and super-fast past my head across the arm of a couch (in a finished attic). Its Chelicera are quite large, deep black, and almost hoof-like at about 3.5mm long. Cephalothorax is a sort of striped light and deep brown, abdomen is lighter ochre-ish color with mottled darker brown spotting. Very hairy legs. Looks to be a male, I think.
Leg-span is about 2.5 inches, body is actually pretty large for such a leggy guy, not sure the photo conveys that.
