Comments & ID Thoughts
I know this picture is very hard to tell, but I am wondering what kind of spider this is. It was on the ceiling of my sister’s living room in Key largo, Florida.
I’m usually decent with spider identification, but she is concerned it is a recluse and I can’t tel either way. I know it is out of region for the recluse, so I am leaning towards no. But any insight is appreciated. She has cats and is worried about them attacking it.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Flattie (Selenops sp.). Not anything to worry over.
