I noticed poorly formed webs on my motorcycle this morning and pulled the seat off to find this on the underside. The bike was outside. Charleston South Carolina. A friend insists it's a Brown Recluse, but I'm skeptical. Regardless, I'm not thrilled about taking spiders on rides with me. Any info on this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, I meant to write that my pal thinks it’s a Brown Widow. I’m afraid my fingers got ahead of my brain. Now that I’ve perused the pictures here I’m inclined to agree. Yeesh! In my motorcycle!
