This is a Long Bodied Cellar Spider.
There are tons of these in my house. Every time I get close, it shakes violently, making itself look like it’s having a seizure.
I love the urban legends about these spiders being extremely venomous, but they are absolutely harmless and wouldn’t hurt a fly(so to speak).
In the corner of my room, I found a bunch of babies that had just gotten out of their sac. I have a real infestation in my house, but I choose to do nothing about it. As for the urban legends, I’ve never heard of them.
The story goes: “The Grandaddy Long Legs are the MOST poisonous spider ever (for its body size). But their mouths are so very tiny that they can’t bite a human, therefore they are cool to have around.
