Comments & ID Thoughts
I live in a basement.
Boyfriend trapped this in a bag. Photograph is in a plastic bag not on a web.
Light-dark brown?
Clumsy in the plastic bag.
Tiny. Including legs it's about half the size of a penny. Too small to count eyes. Too small to see any pattern.
Smooth- little to no hair.
Has the butt-shape of a widow I think?
No patterns just brown.
Found a black widow last week. Had a clear spider dangle in front of my face earlier today. Have a tiny spider bite on my ass since yesterday that was slightly painful. It's better today but still a sore tiny red dot.
Paranoid.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Unfortunately I can’t see the spider clearly enough to ID it past saying that it superficially looks like a Cobweb Spider (Theridiidae). Parasteatoda tepidariorum (Common House Spider) is often found in basements and can look similar … but I really can’t tell from this image.
