Comments & ID Thoughts

Taken in Vancouver Canada. Found it in my bathroom. I live on the ground floor. I'd say its about 2 inches in diameter leg span. My best guess is its a Giant House Spider as those are common around here. Any thoughts?

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Your guess is right, this is a Giant House Spider, Eratigena atrica. (I need to double check the species name when I have more time, three similar species were synonymized as E. atrica but after DNA testing were recently split back into three species.)
