Gasteracantha cancriformis, female, ventral, This shows how the yellow and white ventral dots refract light. In regular light these markings weren't noticeable. In the photo she is eating her web. I accidentally damaged it, she twisted it into a rope and began eating from one end. I saw Micrathena gracilis soiders do the same thing.
