Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

This spider was found in the hallway of my apartment complex. It almost looks like a brown recluse but I do not see the violin shape on its back. This spider was pretty agile and quick. I have two small chihuahuas and one of them love to eat bugs. So I was wondering if I should be concerned if this is a venomous spider or not. PLEASE HELP!

This is a Long-legged Sac Spider, (Cheiracanthium mildei), it will hurt if it bites with pain similar to that of a bee sting, but its won’t cause anything other than just pain, as with most spiders it would rather save its venom for prey and just flee unless there is no other choice.
