No idea. Never seen this spider before and we have a lot of spider varieties. The only ones I've seen this big are wolf spiders. About 1&1/2-2 inches.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like it might be a Hackelmesh Weaver, maybe genus Callobius. The color looks like he just recently molted and will probably get darker.

Thanks. That’s exactly what it looks like. Did look fresh too, was thinking it might’ve molted. Went back out later, but it found a better spot I guess.
