Guessing a Garden Spider? says found in Mexico and United States...this one was in New Brunswick Canada.

Black & Yellow Garden Spider. We get plenty of Canadian reports of this species but if they haven’t been officially listed as identified, the species won’t be listed as found in that region. I find spiders not listed for my location all the time.
I found the same in St Andrews NB yesterday. Can’t say I have ever seen one before.
