Comments & ID Thoughts
I've been finding a number of these little guys all around my house. Sometimes they're on windows, other times they're on the couch or in the playroom. I've seen webs, but so far haven't seen any of the spiders in a web. They're about 1.5-2 cm in diameter, including legs. The body is less than .5 cm in length. Legs are about 1 cm each, maybe a little less.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Wall Spider, (Oecobius sp.).
Hi, thanks for the response. Do they bite? My wife and I have each noticed some itchy red spots on each other, and are wondering if they’re related to our uninvited house buddies.
They’re only likely to bite in self defense so they’re an unlikely suspect unless you’re finding them in your bed or laundry… Whatever they’ve been preying on may also be a suspect.
