Possibly a huntsman? He was on the ceiling of my kitchen/family room at 10pm. Including legs, approximately 4 inches diameter. He was not weak. Took some doing to vacuum him up before releasing. Deliberate mover, but quick.

Hi, and welcome to the site. Your spider is sometimes called golden huntsman or giant crab spider in the Sparassidae family Olios species. nice find.

ItsyBitsy,Thanks,I will have to note the new changes and genus here, I just based on location and not seeing the darker chelicerae.
