Comments & ID Thoughts
I found this poor critter in my cup of apple cider scrambling frantically. Any guesses? I know little about identifying spiders so I tried googling “white body” and it doesn’t look like there are many spiders with all-white bodies... though you can see a line that may/may not be on the inside so it could just be an egg sac (even though I didn’t think it looked spherical enough compared to the other egg sac pictures, and more like a regularly shaped abdomen?).
P.S. I hope I didn’t take a blind sip, not realizing he/she was in there!

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Long-legged Sac Spider, Cheiracanthium mildei.
Thank you very much for the prompt reply! I guess I just wasn’t sure because its torso looks quite brown compared to its very white abdomen, and most of the pictures of the sac spiders looked all white (or at least mono colored) except for the head/legs?
Also, do they like apple cider? 😛
