This is a Wasp Spider.
Yes, Argiope bruennichi. I don’t know what the common name for them is in Belgium. She has her large egg sac with her. She is not at all dangerous to people. I wonder if spiders are thriving Worldwide this year. We hear from around the world, ‘I’ve lived here many years and never saw this spider before.’ I saw three species of large spiders that I’ve never seen before within an hour yesterday in my own neighborhood!
