Hugo, MN, suburb of St. Paul. Appears to be missing a leg and a half.. walking across driveway this afternoon. Bigger than we usually see (3/4” maybe?)

Hi, I think this is a Shamrock Orbweaver, Araneus trifolium. I’m not sure if it is male or a female that has oviposited her eggs.
