Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Jumping Spider, maybe Trite planiceps. There are several other species in the genus listed for New Zealand, I’ll have take a closer look when I have the time.

Do they nest, and if the nest was disturbed would they bit? Do they live together? Also can you pull the venom out before it goes into the system?
yes ,not really they would run away. no. their not poisonous.
Like most spiders they have venom but are not known to be of medical significance, everyone’s immune system is different though. They’re unlikely to bite except in self defense, for instance if trapped against the skin. I’m not familiar with pulling out venom.
