Found this one on my friends car just now and never seen one before. Hopefully someone can tell us what kind of spider it is

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a male Orb-weaver (Araneidae), maybe Eriophora ravilla but I’m not positive.

I was thinking orb weaver at first but thrn i saw his attrmpt at a web on the truck and it was extremely disorganized unlike most weavers in south louisiana. I did move him tho because my neighbor was going to kill him. He now resides at my house on the awning and his name is Jack lol
