I have no idea but would love to have this spider identified. It was found under a broom on the concrete,eating a bee on my front porch.

I have a young daughter always with no shoes and a puppy who will chase anything moving. I’m worried this may be a dangerous spider but have no clue what it could possibly be. Found by the front door eating a bee. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you!
It looks like a Wolf Spider. The venom isn’t medically dangerous. It might give a bite to a puppy or a little foot if they were to accidentally step on it. They bite in self-defense, like any animal that is in pain from pressure against the body. They can be handled gently and won’t attack on the offense. The puppy might get a snout nip or it might manage to eat the spider. It would be equivalent to trying to eat a stinging pollinator for the puppy. Your daughter might enjoy interacting with it.
